THE CITY IN YOUR HANDS
OF THE COMMON GOOD
Smart City Center is inspired by an alternative economic model which calls for working together instead of working against each other, which pays attention to both the needs of consumers and businesses and creates livable cities preserving the environment. This new economic model advocates for fair and equal publicity and advertising opportunities. It encourages consumers to communicate real demands allowing the marketplace to offer truly requested goods and services.
We’d like to share our ambitions with you:
Revitalizing our cities
Reducing food waste
Increasing digital inclusion
Offering visibility to associations and NPO’s
But we do realize we have set our goals high and know that we cannot do it all by ourselves. We’d be happy to work together with public and private parties. After all, sometimes it just takes a small link to achieve great goals. Let’s work together!
REVITALIZATION OF OUR
It has been estimated that in 2050 70% of the world population will be living in urban areas. At present, though, shops are closing up and city high streets fading away. But this is not just a retailers problem! Everyone needs to put its efforts in preserving the heart of the city, by all possible means, including a digital information platform which can give greater visibility to local shops, artisans and enterprises.
WE ARE DIFFERENT
We want “the last to be the first”, that’s why we put newcomers at the top.
Many efforts are made to get noticed globally, we instead focus on being seen locally.
We offer equal advertising space to either old or new, small or big businesses.
SAY NO TO
In the Information Age something isn’t working. On the one hand, many food stores throw away their unsold fresh products, on the other hand food banks fail to meet the increasing requests for help. And in the meantime urban waste mountains keep growing. We cannot accept this! We like to do our bit by offering the Smart City Center platform: stores can now send notifications about discounts and donations, allowing charities to collect and hand out fresh food products to families who cannot afford to buy them.
Smartphones, Internet and social media should be available to everyone, but due to rapid evolving technology many people fail to keep up. Smart City Center commits itself to a true digital inclusion, especially through the assistance of our business buddies who help businesses to stay digitally competitive.
